2022 CBC Project Team Awards Higher Education (Large) Merit

Construction in 2021 was anything but ordinary. Built during heightened COVID-19 restrictions, against unpredictable lead times and coordinated with ongoing construction and campus activities, Pioneer Village: Student Housing and Commons – Phase 3 was delivered on time and on budget. As proven on several landmark projects over the last four years, Consigli, SHU and SLAM collaborated proactively to deliver the final phase of SHU’s signature quad marked by a modern interpretation of collegiate gothic architecture and lush outdoor spaces. Utilizing hybrid communication models and maintaining uninterrupted construction, the team achieved a cohesive gathering space to support students for years to come.
