Sacred Heart University Community Theatre Fairfield, CT |
The renovation of the century-old Fairfield Community Theater (now Sacred Heart University Community Theatre) has created a vibrant community and educational asset. What began as a “white box” renovation to save the deteriorating building became a full-fledged, custom fit-out at mid-point in construction when Sacred Heart University became the tenant. The project team quickly pivoted and brought the University’s facilities and theater department staff into the mix. Together, the team re-focused on re-designing and retrofitting the building to meet multi-media and theatre performance criteria, integrating critical input from MEP trades and others to quickly move forward.
