CT DOT Maintenance Facility
Pomfret, CT
The Pomfret Maintenance Facility Project consisted of the construction of fourteen maintenance bays and approximately 5,000 sf of new office space. On the new footprint, was an existing maintenance facility and salt shed that had to be maintained throughout the project. This meant the construction of temporary offices, operational space, and fuel facilities on-site prior to the demolition of the existing facility. We had to construction the new facility while maintaining these operations uninterrupted. The CT DOT (Owner), Urban Engineers (Owner's Rep), and LaRosa Building Group (Contractor) successfully collaborated to facilitate the relocation and operations throughout the project.
