Benjamin Franklin and Pauli Murray Residential Colleges

New Haven, CT

The new Benjamin Franklin and Pauli Murray residential colleges at Yale University total 547,000 sf of gothic collegiate architecture in the tradition of James Gamble Rogers.  Designed by RAMSA and construction by Dimeo Construction Company, and with the support of numerous subcontractors, vendors, tradesmen and tradeswomen, the LEED Gold Level buildings encompass hundreds of student rooms, numerous classrooms, two dining halls, several lounges, art spaces, a theater and two Head of College Houses.

Thousands of individuals contributed to the project success, providing a variety of life experiences for our team to draw upon when problem-solving and ultimately arriving at the best project decisions for Yale University!
