CBC JANUARY PROGRAM ON ASSET MANAGEMENT:
SHOULD YOU BUILD NEW OR RENOVATE EXISTING?

HAMDEN – The Connecticut Building Congress will host a program on asset management on Tuesday, January 10, 2012 at The Cascade in Hamden, CT. Owners face challenges when evaluating whether to build new or to renovate existing structures. The management of these assets requires a comprehensive evaluation from different perspectives – real estate, construction, and design. This program provides an interactive forum to discuss the factors that an owner should consider when deciding to build new or renovate.

CBC has assembled a diverse panel of professionals to provide various perspectives on this decision. John Mena (Director of Construction, Capital Region Education Council (CREC)) is an experienced owner, while Maura Cochran (Principal, Bartram & Cochran) and Hal Chait (Project Executive, FIP Construction) bring expertise in Real Estate and Construction respectively. Eddie Widofsky of Amenta/Emma will moderate.

If you are interested in attending or sponsoring, please visit the CBC website at www.cbc-ct.org.
