Tuesday, March 11, 2014
Register by Thursday, March 6, 2014*

The Connecticut Office of Policy and Management recently reported a $2.2 million reduction in the cost of state government over the past two years.  Improvements, including a restructuring of the various state agencies that have direct ties to the design and construction industry, have been credited with turning around uncontrolled costs, making government more transparent, and improving efficiencies for CT residents and businesses who  interact with their state government.

Hear from three key CT agency leaders about the changes and improvements their departments have made, their biggest challenges moving forward, and how this all affects the AEC community.

James Redeker, Commissioner, CT Department of

Macky McCleary,
Deputy Commissioner for
Environmental Quality, CT Department of Energy &
   Environmental Protection

Catherine Smith
, Commissioner, CT Department of
   Economic & Community Development

CBC's highly regarded Industry Practices Committee contributed to the planning of this program, and its chair, Chris-Philip Onofrio, Langan Engineering and Environmental Services, will serve as moderator.
