Join us on a tour of the 2019 CBC Project Team of the Year Award Winner – Lafayette Hall at Housatonic Community College. You’ll hear from the project team about how they worked collaboratively from pre-design through closeout on this award-winning project. They’ll share the unique challenges they encountered and how they were overcome. You’ll also hear from the CT State Colleges & Universities Board of Regents – sharing its experience on this project and several others which have influenced the planning for future CT Community Colleges.And you'll have access to the 300,000 sq ft Museum of Art Burt Chernow Galleries, one of the premier permanent college art collections in the United States. The new sculpture showcase, Through a Dark Wood Wandering, will have just opened on November 7. We look forward to having you join us!

We welcome college and high school students with an interest in the design and construction industry, especially those from our host Housatonic Community College and CBC's alliance colleges: Capital Community College Construction Management and Engineering Technology programs, Central Connecticut State University Construction Management program, and University of Connecticut Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering. Use 2nd floor pedestrian bridge from garage or enter front door at ground level and take elevator to 2nd floor. Room 214b is in the corner of the building closest to parking garage.

Nonmembers: $80 per person (Special Membership Drive Event - Normally $100 value)
Government Employee/Student/Subsidized: $30 per person
**Please register by November 11, 2019 to avoid a $20 administrative fee. Day-of and Walk-in spots are limited and if available will incur a $30 administrative fee.
