UConn to Discuss Campus Plans and Development on October 8

HARTFORD, CT – On Tuesday, October 8th, Laura Cruikshank, Master Planner and Chief University Architect, University of Connecticut will be the keynote speaker at the Connecticut Building Congress program, “UConn, Where to Next?”. The program will be held at The Hartford Club, 46 Prospect Street, Hartford, 5:30 - 8:30 pm.

Cruikshank is expected to provide an overview of various programs and developments, including the relocation of the West Hartford campus to downtown Hartford, Bioscience Connecticut and Jackson Laboratory collaborations, the UConn Tech Park in Storrs, five regional campuses, and the Eminent Faculty Initiative in Sustainable Energy.

The Connecticut Building Congress, established in 1952, is one of Connecticut’s premier networking organization for architects, engineers, constructors, and consultants.
