West Haven's Haven:

The Upcoming Public-Private Partnership Project and Related Waterfront Development

Tuesday, May 8, 2018

In Connecticut, public and private players at the local level have been collaborating and forming public-private partnerships and alliances not only to maintain and improve public infrastructure, but also to create more vibrant, livable communities that spur economic growth.

Building on an actual case study in West Haven, our speakers will focus on the role and accomplishments of the local partnership, the elements that spurred the success of the project and challenges that were navigated throughout the partnership.  We will also explore visions for future projects in our communities, and how collaboration between public and private sectors can produce community growth by common investment and vision. Speakers (confirmed spelling, title, affiliation) needed.

Speakers:
Joseph Riccio, Commissioner, Plannning & Development, City of West Haven
Matt Armstrong, Executive Vice President of Development, Gordon Group
Jay Valgora, Principal, Studio V Architects
James Fuda, Vice President - Connecticut Division Manager, Alfred Benesch & Company
